A vintage Chanel mini flap (rare size no longer made) and a pointy satin Mango boots (4 inch high ruby color) are my new babies for this year. Got them just in time for my 29th birthday yesterday. I think this light parka is the perfect thing to wear for the slightly cooler weather. I've worn this a zillion times as a dress too, quite different but I like it! Was getting a little over bored with the usual jacket or blazer image I always see. By the way, these photos were taken last last week during a Saturday routine, followed by an unexpected shoe shopping day with JC, hehe!

Wearing Topshop parka as a top, thrifted skirt under, Tiva by Fila shoes, twisted gold necklace and mom's vintage Versace sunglasses. Check out the half scalloped half gold frames on it, so unique! And the snake-y gold necklace is so pretty too, right? I like wearing it also as a bracelet or as an anklet.

Today, I made friends to a pretty 6 year old China girl while having lunch at Mandarin Hotel. We talked about Hello Kitty, Cinnamoroll, swimming, Fighting fish, dogs, birthdays, fave subjects and other kiddo stuff. We also laughed at some weird words she invented and made fun of some funny looking guys at the pool area. The best part, we kept two fish eggs and she named them Angel and Caramel. Cutest Saturday, ever!

Insisted the boyf to pass by my fave transforming wall. Luckily, its new! Aside from this amazing art, that zipper denim dress and colorful shoulder purse are my current crushes too. Totally surprised how my pieces coincidentally blended with the backgorund. Funny thing is, I got 3D... I mean, I got dizzy after staring alternately to these match-y clashing colors and outfit for toooo looong!

I've had this crumpled cropped top since forever. Found it after my mountain clothes had a major closetslide! That top is so tiny, looks like a crushed paper when not worn, one of my forgotten unique pieces! By the way, boyf took these after we had a Saturdate lunch last week. Weirdo, rain started pouring again after a 3 minute sunny shoot. Boo you bipolar weather. I think you're too tricky for halloween!

Wearing a thrifted cropped top, Lontok trousers, Esprit velvet cardigan tied around the waist, mom's vintage fur clutch, Gold Dot metallic shoes, vintage Versace shades and my all time fave Tag Heuer. Would you believe I've been wearing that velvet cardigan since I was in high school? Also, check out the metallic, moss and talon wood heel on Dani. And that fur clutch is incredibly soft, almost like a pillow, hehe!

Despite abusive wear and torture, this one year old leather layer still look smashing! Stiff when it's newly washed and usually buttery due to repeated use. Like playing it also under or over divine skirts, and pairing with same textures and colors. It's proven that this is the most versatile non-living thing in my room! My ultimate fave dress, ever! Oh, the boyf shot these last week. Forgive the super late posting, I'm such a surprise blogger, hehe!

Layering in a thrifted genuine leather dress (50 Pesos), Lontok floral trousers, Sonia Rykiel leather clutch, mom's vintage gold bangle watch, vintage Versace shades and Wisteria Topshop shoes. Those trousers are actually shimmery and way waaay too beautiful in person. And, I love the idea of half half match-y ensemble going on here.

Been punishing the new iPad for weeks. It's my reliable companion after my ugly laptop died on me. By the way, I also just bought Dani (new shoes) and I can't believe I'm on a hunt for another pair again! Craving for Tardy, that silver ankle boots bottom left. Fur choker is good for nursing a bad sore throat and cough. Killed Saturday and Sunday hibernating with lots of eating. Luckily, Friday was spent already on window shopping, specifically shoe hunting and outfit shooting. I wore a thrifted sheer vest as top, shiny trousers from Lontok and mom's vintage Versace shades. That choker is not a choker, its a snappy hair scrunchy I invented to function as a stylish neck armor, an odd alternative for neck scarf.

Finally got the chance to muse with these art wall after brunching with the boyf. Been eyeing these transforming wall for months! The previous graffiti was way too rad and hypnotizing, sadly they layered it already. Speaking of layers, I am currently obsessed with these layered lacey trousers. I cartwheeled after seeing the last piece in my size, miracle! And the 25 year old pinhole glasses, surprisingly worked for me!

I love to collect faux furs to genuine furs, display odd toys to ugly dolls and borrow vintage to most treasured jewelries from mom. The photo sums up all. That is an antique doll, super old one from my grandma. The fur is a genuine fur coat from Italy, very soft and heavy. And that necklace is my favorite diamond bracelet I've been wearing since I was about 6, perfect fit for my tiny wrist. That's the breathtaking view after riding a tram up to Victoria and a busy view back to the city. By the way, excuse the outfit, that's my go-to outfit when I feel too lazy and boring.

Photos were taken on the way to Ngong Ping, Big Buddha. Rode a glass cable car with a 360 degree view of HK, doing the usual outfit snapshots, transparent flooring versus transparent purse shooting, visited Big Buddha for the 2nd time and some other random scenery pictures of Hong Kong that I took. I am so much in love with the clear lucite purse, so one of a kind piece!

And below are few HK Disneyland photos. Didn't take too many, was too lazy 'cause of the scorching sun. Just spent time around gift shops, coffee shop lounging, trying out every Disney restau/desserts and watching almost all amazing Disney shows including the parade. The best part, Mickey posed and waived back at me! I guess my quirky mouse pieces caught his attention. Sweet!

Hong Kong

Above are some spanking night shots from HK day one. Strolling around Panda Hotel streets from Tsuen Kwai to Tsuen Fu, stopping at every corner to shoot with alien signs, lots of belt fringe playing, some outfit details snapshots and few usual landscape to seascape day shooting I took below. I pretty much enjoyed night strolling than harbour touring that day. Couldn't resist those crazy Chinese lights and colours!

Here are some of my travel photos to the historical Peninsula of Macau. Consists of a 2 hour flight to Hong Kong, plane snaps of flightmates, a little bit of faux fur styling, shooting at some weird looking structures on the way to China Ferry Terminal, window silhouettes in a speeding turbojet to the peninsula, 51st floor falling view at one of the world's tallest tower and empty street shooting together with alternating Chinese-Portuguese signs in Macau.

And below are some random scenes I took along the way. Waiting for cotton candy cloud patterns on a flight to I heart HK, seascape to Macau that looks like an oil painting -so beautiful, refreshing store beside the famous Ruins of St. Paul's Cathedral, passed by Grand Prix Museum and streets of Macau Formula racing, mesmerized by Casino and Grand Lisboa dancing lights plus the mind-boggling over the top detailing and stared heavily to hypnotizing night going back to Hong Kong city.

I wore a thrifted skirt, Gap gray sweater, sample faux fur swatches in shades of beiges and grays (made into a faux fur scarf), Charriol ring, Tag Heuer watch, Omega round gold necklace, LV 30, mom's vintage Versace shades and Forever 21 shoes. Had my late birthday celebration at Hotel Sofitel last February 5. Partied with my closest friends who came all the way from the North, South part and two of my fave people who flew all the way from Dubai! Everyone enjoyed champagnes to Bailey's mixed by the boyf, munching my prettily placed fave snacks, listening to Terry Poison while watching to muted Kill Bill, curtains musing yours truly, me blowing candles in odd corners, lipstick notes on mirrors and shooting at the suite bathroom turned photo balloon booth on my 28th was so tempting!

This is a late post yet again. Been very busy with some other stuff that I totally forgot about blogging. Now, I need to email the rest of the photos to dearest friends. And special thanks to sister Vi (the lady inside the balloon booth) for taking such cutesy photos of me!

Lounging at an almost empty hotel on a weekday out of town trip. Wearing my newly bought lightest monster and a jumper dress double my size. Also ate a volcanic eruption cake and mango shake while reading Elle mag. Photos were taken by my 11 year old nephew who surprisingly chose that gold Casio for himself - I sense a little photgrapher/fashion kid in the family!

And then we went to Boutique to have lunch. The baby back was heaven as well as the Bulalo and other Pinoy dishes served. B's modern interior and exterior pushed me to do another mini photo shoot. But this time snapped by V, dearest sister wearing sparkly skull you see.

Lastly, I was overwhelmed by the greenery which is pretty obvious, evolved to yet another mini shoot. Visited a tiny chapel on top of a hill while enjoying the cold weather for the last time. All in all, it was a perfect day to laze around.

Kingdom of Cambodia

Banteay Srei is a beautiful 10th-century Hindu Temple built largely of a red sandstone with magnificent intricate carvings like wood. Banteay Srei which means Citadel of Women or Citadel of Beauty is probably related to the intricacy of the carvings surrounding the structures. It is said that the reliefs on this temple are so delicate that they could only have been carved by the hand of a woman.

Ta Prohm Temple, built in the mid-12th century is the undisputed capital of the Kingdom of the Trees'. Stones enveloped with moss and gigantic roots snakes through the ruins make it ethereal in aspect and conjures up a romantic aura. No wonder the haunted charm of the place captured the attention of many most especially Miss Angelina Jolie.

Angkor Wat, means City Temple, is the world's largest religious building and has become a symbol of Cambodia. The temple is admired for the grandeur and harmony of the architecture, its extensive bas-reliefs and for the numerous guardians spirits adorning its walls.

Oh, I also gained a lot of new friends! Amazing draping skills and mix of bold colors. I love how my outfits blended as always. Kingdom of Cambodia is so inspiring in so many ways.

The floating villages of Chong Khneas are rich with life and overflowing with culture. With more than 5,000 residents living along the waterway, this is by far the best way to get an up close and experience the beauty of local Khmers and Vietnamese. Kingdom of Cambodia is truly a remarkable place to explore!

Suoi Tien is a grand amusement park in Vietnam. Known for its beautiful scenery and architecture, everything here is huge, bright and colorful. You'll find sculpted dragons, Buddha statues and pretty much anything about Vietnam's history and legends, as well as all the normal theme park attractions. If you want to take the perfect picture, this place is for you!

Suoi Tien is decorated in a sort of Disneyland-meets-Buddha aesthetic, a visual feast!

Oh, watch out for my Cambodia photos I will share soon. Gazillion times mesmerizing!

Ho Chi Minh City, formerly known as Saigon is the largest city in Vietnam. Ho Chi Minh city is ranked as the 3rd most expensive city of South-East Asia after Singapore and Hanoi. Truly a wonderful city with rich Vietnamese culture and traditions.

The city's core is adorned with huge elegant temples and historical French colonial structures. We visited the popular sites like the majestic Giac Lam Temple, Reunification Palace, Notre-Dame Cathedral, Cho Lon as China Town and the busy Bến Thành market. Dining at The Deck, over looking the Mekong River and riding the cyclo solo was pretty amazing to appreciate more the beauty of Saigon.

I was totally surprised by the beauty of Ho Chi Minh City and even more dazzled by the deep history the city has to offer. Touring Vietnam with dearest mom was unforgettable. She fell in love with the city twice and I think I'll be back again to see the beach part of Vietnam with siblings. That'll be twice the fun!

Been missing for a month and I'm kinda liking it. Odd weather pushed me to go for out of town trips and pulled me back to splurged a lot on Topshop sale. Also did some thrift shopping, scored a leather cocktail dress and a cotton candy fur mini that goes so well with my newly bought Wisteria chiffon tie wedges in salmon color. I have tons of inspirational pieces to share, but laziness and out of town trips always seems to get in the way. By the way, matchy matchy clothes are somewhat creepy looking on me, noh? Atlantis, the Palm is a majestic focal point in Dubai. It is situated on the Palm, which is a piece of
man-made island that has been reclaimed from the sea. Its interior are decorated in a variety of
fashions, a little art deco and featuring lots of sea art propping everywhere.

My under the sea experience was beyond whimsical.

No wonder this legendary hotel has captured the world's imagination with its magnificent scale
and amazing decor. The Murano glass masterpiece below is unbelievably breathtaking.

Funny, I felt like a seaweed in those layered pieces. As usual, I was inspired by Atlantis' beauty.

Right now I'm having amnesia and deja vu at the same time. Is it weird in here, or is it just me? Then I found out there's such a thing as Best Bad Writing Competition started in the early 1980's. Here are the funniest worst entries.

It was a dark and stormy night -actually not all that dark, but more dusky or maybe cloudy, and to say "stormy" may be overstating things a bit, although the sidewalks were still wettish and smelled of ozone, and, truth be told, characterizing the time as night is a stretch as it was more in the late, late afternoon because I think Oprah was still on.

Heaven on Earth

The Sheikh Zayed Mosque in Abu Dhabi is the eighth largest mosque in the world and it is one of the most important architectural treasures in UAE. The design of the mosque is a fusion of Arab, Mughal and Moorish architecture. Made of white Italian marble, 24 carat gold-glass mosaic features, with semi-precious stones and mother of pearl decorative. The interior and exterior design are equally impressive.

I firmly believe I have experienced Heaven by this beauty.

This heavenly Grand Mosque holds the largest chandelier made of copper, gold and Swarovski crystals. The carpet laid out is also the world's largest hand-woven Persian carpet made by 1,200 weavers. And yes, if I'm not mistaken, the golds on top of the domes are pure gold! Unbelievably awesome, right?

By the way, I wore an all black cloth with matching veil / hijab on my head because women are only allowed to enter the sacred mosque wearing a traditional Arab costume. That's why.

And you might be wondering, here's what I wore beneath those Arabic clothing. Mom's necklace from
Egypt is just perfect. The colors and the design of this piece is as beautiful as the Sheik Zayed mosque.

This perfectly unusual seven-star hotel is dominating the Dubai skyline. This beauty stands over
one thousand feet tall and built to resemble a billowing sail. Plus its illuminated at night with
choreographed lighting too. Burj Al Arab is equals to most amazing thing in the planet!

No wonder this is one of the most photographed structures in the world. Tons ahead!
Your eyes might pop out, so beware!

The Manila Hotel is the oldest premiere hotel in the Philippines, built in 1909. The Champagne Room is my most favorite place there because it's forever summery. The yellow and green colors, floral patterns, pinkish carpet, marble floors, black arched windows and antiques here and there are so beautiful and inspiring. Very inspiring so I wore this outfit. These are the dreamy photos my sister and I took in Zambales, Philippines. The sea, sand and sky of
this island is very enchanting. The place is truly a DREAM.

I am wearing a thrifted floral top and glasses, topshop shorts, circle ratan bag, a cloth from a sarong
worn as head accessory and a thrifted long black cardi.

My sister is wearing mom's skirt as dress, topshop belt, thrifted cardi and glasses, bag from Egypt and

Who says you can't wear faux fur in a tropical country, ha? Surprisingly no sweat to death.
The only problem? It's kinda heavy. As if I partied all night carrying my nephew Tommy
(hi, tomtom!). haha

I wore a black super see-thru blouse (changed the old buttons), fave black bra, Mango black
silk skirt, dad's gray socks, CMG brown heels and assorted bangles together with my two fave
watches I wore on both arms. The fur and see-thru top are thrifted.

I've been wanting to wear this outfit for quite sometime now. So I was thrilled when I finally got to
wear them especially on the beach! Excited to pair this too with wedges together with my wavy hair
down and some overload chunky bangles on a Saturdate night. This umbrella like pattern skirt is
definitely one of my fave summer skirt!

My $3 find Tsumori Chisato dress with drawings of sunny sunshine, tiny little houses, cute colorful
objects together with alien looking robots. Such a lovely bubbly bubble dress. Her unique designs

plus a 5 minute boat ride to Potipot island in Zambales, Philippines. Props to the tree trunks.

Taken at the beautiful and historical San Agustin Church in Intramuros, Manila. The church and
museum will never bore you with its Spanish style especially the antique furniture and picturesque place.

I think this vintage pearl purse is just perfect for this place. Wearing a white thrifted Japanese top
with red tribal print, grey Topshop shorts, U beaded pearl white sandals

Dreamy Places

Anawangin and Capones are the most beautiful Islands I've ever seen in my entire life. I've been
there twice last year and the place is just BEAUTIFUL! Lucky to have dreamy dreamy poses with
the Islands. The pictures says it all. And did I mention it is only in Zambales (3 hours away from Manila!).
I'm going back there this summer and I'm sooo excited to see that dreamy place again!
