Hide and Seek

Can't believe I bought a Biba long black evening velvet dress for 5 PHP and Alexander McQueen
black cocktail draped dress for 50 PHP only! Will be making an appearance with them soon.

And believe me, you won't regret playing this. Full volume please. Beautiful song. Amazing video.
My fave song ever. Always makes me feel strangely good. Good night!

Atlantis The Palm

Atlantis, the Palm is a majestic focal point in Dubai. It is situated on the Palm, which is a piece of
man-made island that has been reclaimed from the sea. Its interior are decorated in a variety of
fashions, a little art deco and featuring lots of sea art propping everywhere.

My under the sea experience was beyond whimsical.

No wonder this legendary hotel has captured the world's imagination with its magnificent scale
and amazing decor. The Murano glass masterpiece below is unbelievably breathtaking.

Funny, I felt like a seaweed in those layered pieces. As usual, I was inspired by Atlantis' beauty.

Wearing thrifted lace dress, Mango silk skirt (over), Mango cardi, mom's necklaces, LV purse,
Versace shades, Charles & Keith flats

By the way, this post is so late, I know. But today is special because I'll greet myself belated Happy Birthday!
And
Happy 1 year to my blog! Lastly, Thank You to all my readers and to Raisa of Style Fool for featuring me!

Who struck me most:

Noelle of Noelle Chantal - just a girl in between inspiring styles and beautiful places. Her blog says it all,
Noelle combines
fashion, nature and beautiful scenery at one. This 26 year old fashion blogger has
caught my eye instantly, from her beautiful pictures in Dubai (mosque's and deserts), from nature trips
and most of all her Outfit posts.

Odd

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Right now I'm having amnesia and deja vu at the same time. Is it weird in here, or is it just me? Then I found out there's such a thing as Best Bad Writing Competition started in the early 1980's. Here are the funniest worst entries.

It was a dark and stormy night -actually not all that dark, but more dusky or maybe cloudy, and to say "stormy" may be overstating things a bit, although the sidewalks were still wettish and smelled of ozone, and, truth be told, characterizing the time as night is a stretch as it was more in the late, late afternoon because I think Oprah was still on.

-Gregory Snider, MD, Lexington, KY, 2004 runner-up

On reflection, Angela perceived that her relationship with Tom had always been rocky, not quite a roller coaster ride but more like when the toilet paper roll gets a little squashed so it hangs crocked and every time you pull some off you can hear the rest going bumpity-bumpity in its holder until you go nuts and push it back into shape, a degree of annoyance that Angela had now almost attained.

-Rephah Berg, Oakland, CA, 2002 winner

The last one is hilarious! I think Uncle John's Wonderful World of Odd book drives me insane. And believe it or not 2010 is beginning to get on my last nerve. Sorry I feel normy lately. Will blog something exciting soon.

Good Luck Tiger

2009 was a bit of a blurry roller coaster ride for me. I believe this new year will be a great one.
Cross fingers. For now, I leave you these not-so-happy photos and let them speak for themselves.

See my Dubai photos.

Still feeling icky to be posting a not-so-jolly blog. I know, I should be a merry Noelle. Promise,
you'll see her on the next post. New year always puts me in the mood to contemplate. Wish me luck.

Good luck, Tiger! Have a prosperous New Year!
